Okay, so I’ve been trying to get into some more Ska lately, and a friend helped me out by sending some Streetlight Manifesto my way (suggestions for other groups/albums are more than welcome!)  So this comes from their album where they redid famous songs, and I LOVE this one.  First off, I love the original by The Cyrkle, not to mention all the amazing trombone that they put in this one.

On a more personal side, I burned 500 calories on the machines in the PAC today, it’s getting easier to work harder and burn calories faster.  Also, I signed up for the 5K in TR, and I’m excited to run my second professionally timed one ever! My goal is to beat Erik ;)

Okay, well, I’m running out of reasons to procrastinate finish practicing my scales and such…Motivation, where art thou?!?

When I first learned this song, I decided I didn’t wanna hum or trill or whistle the horn solos, so I decided to write an entirely new third verse. I hope y’all like it.

Also, please excuse my singing; although I am a firm believer that everyone can sing, I am an equally firm believer that just because you can, it doesn’t constitute that you’re good =P
